After 10 years of trying, Andrew Turner’s Karrek team comprising of St Kew professional Richard O’Hanlon, and amateurs Andrew, Kevin Rowett and Jeremy Barnard, all Carlyon Bay members, finally won the PGA Overseas North Proam by 3 shots with a cumulative score of 529 (49 under par). Played over 4 days on different championship courses 21 teams competed in near perfect conditions on pristine fairways and greens. The format of the competition was stroke play with two scores to count.
Andrew was naturally thrilled with the team’s win saying “Fantastic performance from the team. Strong scores on difficult courses. Great week that we will remember for a long time”
