For the first time since 1970 the Carlyon Bay team were victorious in the CTC final against Trevose at the St Enodoc course yesterday Sunday 23rd March. In cold and blustery conditions the team were trailing after the morning pairs round despite some excellent golf being played. The afternoon singles matches saw Carlyon Bay winning 6 of the 8 matches to clinch the win, a tremendous feat, many congratulations to the team. Many thanks also to the caddies & all the supporters from the club who travelled over to watch the competition. After the presentation the team and supporters returned to the club to rightly celebrate the win where team member & club champion Sam Crocker made good on his promise to have his head shaved if we won the Champion ship raising £100 for the captains charity in the process, Well done to all the players the whole club are very proud of your achievements.
