Carlyon Bay claimed the major honours in this years Maxam Cup competition staged at the China Fleet Country Club on Sunday 8th August
Carlyon Bays 6 man team featuring Junior Captain Alec Nile and his partner Max Gay, Sam Crocker and Mark Blaber and Jack Dormand who partnered with Louis Gough.
The 6 man team’s aggregate total of 301 gained them a 6 shot winning margin over runners up Mullion (307), who tied with West Cornwall, Trevose and 2020 winners Newquay but prevailed on countback.
The last time the Maxam Cup was won by a Carlyon Bay team was in 2011 so a huge well done for this year's team effort in Winning the cup for the first time in 10 years!
