The Carlyon Bay Golf Festival is a week of fun, mixed competitions for both members and non-members.
Paul Martin, our Golf Director, will be coordinating the Golf Festival Week in July and his expertise together with the outstanding service of Carlyon Bay will once more prove to be a winning combination! This is a real highlight in the golfing calendar, with a PRO-AM in aid of charity on Sunday and daily competitions rounded off by wonderful evening celebrations.
Maximum handicap is 28 for gentlemen & 36 for ladies. Daily entry costs are £8 members and £16.50 non-members including green fee.
Schedule of events
Sunday 7th:
Pro AM in aid of Mount Edgcumbe Hospice.
Monday 8th:
Texas Scramble, Teams of 3, Medal Competition, 20% of combined handicap.
Tuesday 9th:
Stableford, Teams of 4, 3/4 Handicap, 2 scores out of 4 to count
Wednesday 10th:
Teams of 3, Stableford Competition, 3/4 Handicap, (holes 1 to 6 - 1 score: 7 to 12 - 2 scores: 13 to 18 - 3 scores).
Thursday 11th:
Texas Scramble, Teams of 4, Medal, 10% of combined handicap.
Friday 12th:
Betterball Stableford, Pairs, 9/10 handicap, entry in 4's.
Saturday 13th:
Individual Stableford, full handicap, prizes for gentlemen and ladies.
The presentation of prizes each evening occurs at approximately 9pm.
Maximum handicap each competition: Gentleman 28, Ladies 36.
