Today we hosted our Hickory club competition celebrating the clubs centenary. Members played using the hickory clubs of 1926 with many embracing the era in wearing plus fours, ties & waistcoats etc that some of them used to wear when they were playing in the 1920s..............
During the day we were able to raise £160 for the Children's Hospice South West, the charity the Brend Collection is supporting this year.
Our thanks to Paul & Sean from British Golf Collectors Society who supplied the clubs & supported the players.
Everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable day which was rounded off with afternoon tea & the presentations made on the terrace in the afternoon sunshine.

1st: John Alton & Mike Allen
